2. What's the Cancellation Policy?
- We understand that plans can change, but because our sailing season is quite short, we unfortunately can't offer direct refunds for cancellations. However, we're happy to help! We'll do our best to resell your spot. If we successfully find someone to take your place, you'll receive a full 100% refund, and everyone will be happy! We'll work hard to make it happen.
3. What Are the Payment Options?
- We partner with Wise, a global banking leader. This allows us to accept payments seamlessly from numerous countries, often fee-free. Plus, you can pay in your local currency if it's EUR, USD, GBP, or BRL.
4. What About Food and Drinks?
- Lucas, before becoming a sailor, used to be a chef. He is the one who will make your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our meals are simple and healthy. Sometimes you will see us making fresh pasta, and you can participate in helping if you would like. Before boarding, we ask if anyone is allergic to something or has food they don't like eating.
5. What Is the Atmosphere Like?
- Our sailing trips are all about a laid-back and relaxed vibe. We're not a party boat or an open bar. We love the simple pleasures: sailing, discovering secluded coves, swimming naked, barbecuing, making fresh pasta, and occasionally hiking. We enjoy good music, but we also cherish the tranquility of the waves, the silence, and the birdsong.
- Our sailing trips are designed for those who appreciate a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and enjoy connecting with others in a genuine way. If you're looking for a party boat or a high-energy, constantly loud environment, this might not be the right trip for you. We prioritize tranquility, respect, and a shared appreciation for the natural beauty around us.
6. If I Go Solo, Will I Have to Share a Cabin With a Stranger?
- No, you won't automatically have to share a cabin with a stranger if you're traveling solo. We understand that sharing a cabin with someone you don't know can sometimes lead to a restless night, especially if they snore or move a lot. To avoid this, we generally don't pair solo travelers together unless they specifically request it. We know that traveling solo can mean a higher cost, so if you're open to sharing, let us know when you book. If we find another solo traveler interested in sharing, we'll connect you both, and you can decide together if it's a good fit. It's completely your choice!
7. In Case of Bad Weather, What's the Plan?
- Safety is our absolute priority; we never take risks in adverse weather. Our experience ensures we're always prepared. In storms, we immediately seek safe anchorage until they subside. Rain offers various options, tailored to our guests: swimming, sailing, or enjoying the boat's cozy ambiance with books, cooking, and wine. Strong winds allow us the flexibility to moor or anchor safely, exploring islands on foot until conditions improve. These situations are exceptionally rare during our optimal sailing season, May to September.
8. Where Are Your Guests Usually From? What Is the Age Range?
- Our sailing trips attract an international crowd, with guests from Italy, the US, Belgium, Brazil, and beyond. While millennials form the majority, we welcome guests of all ages.
9. What Is the Average Group Size?
- Usually four guests plus us two and our little dog.
10. Is There Wi-fi Aboard?
- In case you dont have internet we can hotspot internet from our phones.
11. What Is the Level of "Clothing Optional" or "Nudity" On Board?
- Whether we are naked depends on where we are. Generally, we love to enjoy the freedom of swimming nude, especially when we're anchored in secluded coves. In places like Slovenia and Croatia, where nudism is quite common, it's perfectly normal.
Greece, with its strong Orthodox Church traditions, tends to be a bit more conservative, but nudity is still accepted in many areas, particularly away from populated beaches. - We encourage everyone to be mindful of others' comfort levels and to practice respectful nudity. This means being aware of your surroundings and choosing appropriate locations. Discretion is key, and respecting local customs is always important. We want everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed during their time with us!
12. What Is the Typical Daily Itinerary?
- Our days begin with the aroma of Italian coffee and breakfast, followed by a refreshing morning swim. As the wind rises, we sail to our next island or cove. Upon arrival, we enjoy a leisurely lunch, either underway or at anchor, before exploring the shoreline. Guests can snorkel, paddleboard, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. Around 3 PM, we gather for espresso and a sweet snack. By then, conversations flow freely, often leading to insightful discussions—sometimes, it even feels like a floating therapy session! Some guests might practice yoga, work out, or stroll around the island. As evening approaches, we gather for dinner, and the next day, we either repeat this wonderful rhythm or embark on a completely new adventure.
13. What About the Drinks?
- We've got you covered with wine, coffee, and water during your sailing adventure. For any other drinks you might fancy, like juice, soda, beer, or cocktails, you're welcome to bring your own bottles on board.
